How to store your suit
You need to keep your suit in a dress cover. It is needed to prevent the fur from shedding and losing its colors. You should not keep your suit in a vacuum bag for a long time as it may cause the fur damage.
It is better to keep the head in a special case or on a mannequin.
Be careful with the nose! Just like a real animal, the suit has a delicate nose. Try not to scratch or drop the mask.
The claws on the gloves are flexible. It is hard to break them, but easy to melt. Please, do not heat them up.
- Do not leave the gloves on a heater or a fireplace.
- Do not leave the gloves in the sun.
- Do not use them to stir your tea or coffee.
So. CAUTION: NEVER LEAVE THE HEAD AND GLOVES IN DIRECT SUNLIGHT OR OVER/ON/IN ANY HEATING DEVICE! They should not be heated more than 50 degrees Celsius.
How to wear the suit
You should not wear your suit on a naked body. It is not comfortable and you will have to wash it more often. Thermal underwear or moisture-absorbing clothes underneath will make it much better for you and your suit will stay beautiful and neat for a longer time. Wear a balaclava under the mask. If you have long hair, make a ponytail.
How to clean the suit
The head: Clean the inner side of the head with a piece of cloth. You can use disinfectants. In order to dry your mask, put it upside down. If you have a dryer, you know how to use it J
Clean the outer side of the mask with carpet-cleaning chemicals according to the instructions twice a year. The mask can be washed under water. You can wash the hood with shampoo but do not wet the fan, it must always stay dry.
The gloves: You can wash the gloves with soap or liquid detergent. You can wring them in the washing machine. Do not forget to brush the gloves before drying.
Slippers: Handwash the slippers in warm water with liquid detergent. Wring them in a washing machine with the soles against the cylinder. If a sole came off, it can be easily fixed with a rubber adhesive. Dry the slippers in a ventilated space or outdoors to make the process faster.
The overall: You can have the overall dry cleaned. Use mild detergents just like for baby clothes. You can also clean your overall at home in a washing machine using a delicate or baby cycle. The water temperature should not be over 30°C. Use a liquid detergent and conditioner to make the fur soft and give it a pleasant scent. You can wring it at the highest spin speed. Brush the fur and spread it out before drying. Do not hang it as it may stretch out. Dry it like your favorite sweater.
How to keep your fursuit fresh
Use the sportswear spray for the inner side of the overall and the mask after every walk. Let it dry well. Do not store the wet suit as it may start to smell. You should only store the suit when it is dry. You can put a scented sachet in your suit. This way you will feel a nice fragrance every time you wear it.
